The existing park, located at 32 Camelot Drive, is getting an upgrade in the fall of 2026!

We have an exciting improvement plan for the neighbourhood park. With new play experiences, inviting seating areas, an asphalt multi-use surface, and functional upgrades like drainage, we're creating an inviting and vibrant space for the community.

This is your opportunity to tell us if the proposed plan meets the neighbourhood’s needs!

Existing conditions:

  • The park is a wooded site accessed via a trail entrance from Camelot Drive. The interior features a clearing with:

  • A play structure

  • Swings

  • Benches

  • The current layout feels enclosed; the vision is to open up the space to feel safe, visible, and welcoming.

Proposed features:

1. Park Entrance redesign entrance off Camelot Drive to include:

  • A crosswalk for safe pedestrian access

  • A bench and park sign to establish identity

  • A lawn area to create a social and welcoming space

2. Rebuilt Entrance Trail

  • Upgrade the trail to a 3m-wide city standard, suitable for multi-use (bikes and walking)

  • Thin trees along the trail to improve visibility into the park from Camelot Drive

3. New Playground Area

  • Create a small open field play area in the interior through the removal of trees.

  • Install new play equipment including an adventure play area with a new ‘Log Jam’ climbing structure.

  • New picnic tables and benches to support family and group use

4. Multi-Purpose Hard Surface

  • Add an asphalt pad to support:

  • Basketball

  • Pickleball

  • Other games

  • All-wheels use (e.g., scooters, skateboards)
