Moncton is experiencing significant growth, and we are committed to adapting our services to meet the rising demand. Both the 51 Green Line and 60 Bessborough routes will undergo adjustments in 2024 to align with the evolving developments in Moncton.


51 Green Line

The proposed route extension will now stretch North on Mountain Road, extending just beyond the Magnetic Hill Zoo. In the northbound direction, buses on this line will access Plaza via Mountain Road instead of Mapleton Road, and the bus stop will be relocated to the south side of Plaza Blvd. This line will now offer Northbound and Southbound service on Mountain Road between Plaza and Magnetic Hill.

Due to these adjustments, the 51 Green Line will no longer stop on Mapleton Road. These stops will be serviced by 65 Killam.

These adjustments are reflected in the proposed route map.


60 Bessborough

The proposed route extension will take the bus down Millennium, right on Russ Howard, onto the traffic circle, exit on Killam, and left to loop back on Millennium. These changes aim to benefit youth accessing sports facilities on Russ Howard Drive and residents in the Croasdale and Grand Trunk areas, as well as accommodate residents on Millennium Blvd.

These adjustments are reflected in the proposed schedules and the proposed route map.

    When the changes in the 51 ( magnetic hill) will have effect?

    We are currently aiming to implement these changes in August. However, the exact timing depends on the success of our recruitment efforts. Once we’ve picked a date, we will notify the public through various communication channels (Facebook, the app, the website, etc.).

    Hi! Has there ever been any thought into using the bus terminal at CF Champlain as an official park & ride? One major benefit would getting to downtown (Green Line) without having to pay for parking. With some promotion and collaboration with CF this could have some potential.

    There should be a bus route from Berry mills rd to homestead rd connecting back on mnt rd by the zoo
