The City of Moncton’s Social Inclusion Plan is up for review.

The current plan, established in 2016, identifies priority areas key to providing quality of life for all residents.

Reviewing and updating the plan

A planning committee, made up of community members, City of Moncton staff, councillors, and representatives from non-profit organizations. has been established and is leading the review and update of the plan.

Key priority areas:

  • homelessness
  • housing and affordability
  • diversity and inclusion
  • accessibility

The Social Inclusion Planning Committee has been meeting with local community groups and organizations who are working in these priority areas in the region to better understand current needs, as well as opportunities and gaps in the existing services and structure.
