Phase 1 – Evaluation of Existing Transit Issues and Opportunities

Focuses on understanding what the key priorities and issues are with respect to existing transit services. It includes review of data collected from current transit routes and gathering information from front-line transit staff.


January → March 2025

Phase 2 – Identifying Community Priorities

Aims to conduct a thorough and meaningful engagement with transit riders, staff, the community, and partners to learn what’s working well with the existing system and their priorities for improvement.


February → May 2025

Phase 3 – Option Development (+ Echoing feedback)

We will repeat what we heard in the first round of engagement back to the community and all key draft elements of the Growth Strategy will be developed, building upon the comprehensive analysis conducted in Phases 1 and 2.  


May → September 2025

Phase 4 – Finalize Transit Growth strategy

We will summarize the insights gathered throughout the process in a comprehensive Transit Growth Strategy report, supported by an actionable short-, medium- and long-term plan.
