The City of Moncton is developing a comprehensive Recreation Facility and Programming Master Plan. The plan will guide City Council and staff to evaluate the current provision of recreational facilities and programming in Moncton and plan for the future in a way that reflects the values and needs of the community. The Master Plan will provide a framework for the management and development of recreation facilities and programs, infrastructure, resources and investment over the next 10 years.
The project goal is to create an inventory of recreational facilities and programs and determine what are the gaps and assets, while at the same time, considering recreation trends and best practices. This project will reflect Moncton’s growing population with consideration for an all-age, all-ability and all-culture approach.

The survey
should take about 5-10 minutes to complete; you simply need to include a valid
email address. Only one survey should be filled out per household.
Finally –
please note that this survey takes into account facilities and/or programming offered by private entities and non-profit organizations, and by the cities of Moncton,
Dieppe and Riverview (or other nearby communities), as it is recognized that
citizens travel between communities for activities.
REMINDER: Survey responses will be compiled and presented in such a way as to protect
the anonymity of participants.
