Savannah Heights Park Improvements

The existing park located at 121 Savannah Drive is getting an upgrade in 2024!

We have an exciting improvement plan for the neighbourhood park. With new play experiences, inviting seating areas, and functional upgrades like drainage, and street shade trees, we're creating an inviting and vibrant space for the community. The existing playground equipment will remain in place, while we are enhancing it by adding some exciting new features around it.

Proposed features:

• An adventure play area including a new ‘Log Jam’ climbing structure, the relocated climbing wall, wood chip pathways under the existing red maple stand, and seating.
• New walking paths, a redefined park entrance, and a new crosswalk to facilitate access to the park.
• A refurbished play area with a new playhouse, and a beach with frog and turtle.
• New seating and picnic areas to provide excellent vantage points to supervise the playground and other park activities
• Preservation of green space by planting more trees, improving site drainage, and creating a woodland path.
